Contacting new visitors within the first 24 hours greatly increases the chance of retaining them. In fact, without visitors, there wouldn’t be any growth at all, and having a strategy to connect and communicate with those first-time guests is a step in the right direction.
When a visitor arrives who isn’t in the system, an attendant enters them into the database directly from the check-in station. Simply hit the “visitor” button and a form will pop up to collect all the data for their record. This makes it easier to track how many visitors you had, who were visiting, and gives you the ability to assign members to follow up with them. If you choose not to have an attendant, or if one is not available, the form is simple enough that visitors can enter themselves.
